One of my favorite poets John Keats wrote,“I almost wish we were butterflies and liv’d but three summer days – three such days with you I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain.” His letters to Fanny are full of such passion and yet, innocence that one wonders if such a love does exist in such times. Maybe am a romantic stuck in 18th/19th century literary poems of sacred pure love or maybe like them I am a dreamer hopelessly wandering through the days of my life on earth hoping that one could fill one’s life with such delight someday…one day!
In my defense I may have read way too many love poems to be gibbering all this. 🙂 Even so, I hope you like the lines and maybe take a look at some of Keats’s poems to Fanny. And if you are a movie buff and would rather stick to the movie version check out Bright Star.
