Love walked in…

The door slammed a thousand times.

The hinges started to loosen.

The wood that made it firm

Now began to age and die.

What an old door!

A door so weak

Yet, so strong;

Bared a thousand storms.

The wind of hate couldn’t knock it down

Until the sun came and turned it all around.

There it was bright and beaming

Shining this light

The room lit up

And darkness fell out of sight.

It got warmer,

It felt lightened,

The day the sun shone

And you knocked on the door

My heart felt a knock

And the door opened.

Beats became steady

No more weary

You knocked on my door…

Love glowed!
