We are interlocked
You and I.
Bound and wound
Into one.
Our paths cross
Fate bound.
Yet, we never meet somehow.
What a puzzle we are!
Forever meeting never together.
I fear its a cruel game
Played up in fancy;
I am bound to you
As you are to me.
But our hearts are strangers
Forever free.
What binds us then?
Two logs placed together
Chopped and cut
Align to center;
A play of coincidence
Or a fateful circumstance.
The twist in our fate
Is unlocking our hearts.
